Kathleen Greely advances trauma-aware, funder-ready systems for community and cultural infrastructure. A two-time cancer survivor, she bridges healing-centered design, nonprofit infrastructure, and community redevelopment. Today, she designs fundable, lasting systems for organizations building community and cultural infrastructure, including a $2 million federal funding pipeline for a single client, and creates Khatz Coats™, wearable legacy for women in survivorship.

Khatz Coats™
Wearable Legacy.
Khatz Coats™ is a healing-centered wearable legacy model for women navigating cancer survivorship, trauma, and major life transitions. Each coat is custom-designed through a chakra awareness assessment, handcrafted by master artisan SAM at Alterations & More Tailor Shop in Toledo, and carries a QR-coded personal legacy declaration the woman keeps for life. This work was featured in The Toledo Blade in July 2025.

Broken Crayons Still Coloring™ is building the inaugural Sponsor-a-Coat™ cohort with The Victory Center in Toledo, Ohio, funding one woman’s complete experience at a time. A culminating public exhibition, Khatz Coats™: Wearable Form & Embodied Experience, is planned for January 31, 2027. Sponsor-a-Coat™ is building partnerships with health systems, cancer-support organizations, and corporate sponsors across Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
